Summary: The aim of the project is to enable the research trainee to become familiar with the latest methods used in psychological research and to gain experience in their application in a research study aimed at assessing the psychological impact of information posted on social networks. The study will analyse real posts on Facebook and the characteristics of users’ interactions with them. Based on the information gathered, an experiment will be designed to assess the impact of different types of interactions on fromstatus to the described event. The results of the research will provide evidence for effective information management and prediction of fromstats and behaviour of information users. It will also provide the trainee with the skills necessary to select the most appropriate research methods and to conduct research independently.
