Summary: The State Data Protection Inspectorate, together with Mykolas Romeris University, is implementing the SolPriPa 2 WORK project “Solving the Privacy Paradox 2: Promoting high standards of data protection as a fundamental right in the workplace”. The two-year project is partly funded by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020). It is a project to raise awareness among employers and employees on the protection of personal data in the context of employment relationships.
The main target audiences are employees, who are the weaker party in the employment relationship, and employers, in particular professionals such as Data Protection Officers, HR, communication, IT specialists and other administrative staff.
The project foresees a strong focus on small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as on public sector organisations such as ministries and their subordinate institutions, municipalities, courts. The project will provide training, guidelines, scientific articles, podcasts, and further development of the mobile application “ADA Guide”.
The SolPriPa 2 WORK project is part-funded by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020) and is part of the awareness-raising project on the protection of personal data implemented in 2018-2020. Continuation of the project „SolPriPa“.
