MYKOLAS ROMERIS UNIVERSITY RATINGS

In 2024 of all higher education institutions in Lithuania in the field of Law, MRU is among the top universities globally and is ranked 201-250 positions. Top 250.
In the “QS World University Rankings: Emerging Europe and Central Asia“ (EECA), ranked from 2018, MRU has been climbing higher and successfully reached the 137th position in 2022 from 181. ranked 137th
In 2023, the international university ranking agency QS World University Rankings: Sustainability included MRU for the first time. The university was ranked 268th in Europe and 637th globally. The highest-rated areas were research and studies in environmental sustainability, equal opportunities, educational impact, health and well-being, and university governance.
In the 2024 QS World University Rankings by Subject, MRU is ranked 201st out of 370 universities worldwide in the field of Law, maintaining this position for the second consecutive year.

According to the “Webometrics” ranking, Mykolas Romeris University is among the top five universities in Lithuania, ranking 4th (data from July 2024).

According to the May of 2023 data of the “Reitingai” magazine, MRU is the leading higher education institution in Lithuania in the international competition category of universities. Mykolas Romeris University – No. 1 in Lithuania, according to international competition.
According to the December of 2023 data of the “Reitingai” magazine. Mykolas Romeris University – No. 1 in Lithuania for master’s studies in the field of law.

Mykolas Romeris University was ranked 159th in the  “UI GreenMetric“ World University Rankings by Region – Europe (2022 data). 

For the third time, Mykolas Romeris University’s sustainability initiatives have been evaluated by the international university sustainability ranking agency, UI Greenmetric. Out of 1,183 ranked universities worldwide, MRU placed 547th in 2023, based on its contribution and impact in areas such as research and studies, infrastructure, energy, climate change, waste management, water, and transport usage. According to UI Greenmetric’s assessment, MRU has the greatest environmental and social impact in the areas of research and studies, energy and climate change, and waste management.
The world university Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assess universities against the United Nations‘ Sustainable Developent Goals (SDG‘s) evaluating higher education institutions with the greatest impact on sustainable development. In 2024 MRU was ranked as one of the most influential universities in areas such as life on land, reducing inequalities, peace, justice and strong institutions and is ranked 201-300. And we rank 101-200th in the field of gender equality.
