March 23rd-27th, 2015, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Prof. Inga Žalėnienė attended the 4th ASEM Rectors' Conference in Hangzhou, China.
The theme of the conference was "University-Business Partnerships: Asia and Europe Seeking 21st Century Solutions."
"The event was intensive and many contacts were made. There was agreement reached on several important projects, which will allow MRU to forge ahead with cooperation with partners from Asia in the areas of studies and research," Vice-Rector Prof. Žalėnienė said.
During the ASEM Rectors' Conference, there was discussion about how universities can cooperate with the business sector so that students are more employable after graduation. In addition, entrepreneurship and creating learning environments via information and communication technologies were also on the agenda.
