Nov. 30th-Dec. 2nd, 2015, MRU Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Dr. Inga Žalėnienė visited Poland's John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL).
She discussed cooperation possibilities with this University's Vice-Rector for Promotion and International Cooperation Prof. Urszula Paprocka, Law Faculty Dean Prof. Andrzej Herbet, Humanitarian Faculty Dean Prof. Hubert Łaszkiewicz, and European Studies Center Director Prof. Sławomir Łukasiewicz.
Vice-Rector Žalėnienė visited the University's Interdisciplinary Research Centre KUL.
Research conducted at KUL and its experience can be successfully used at MRU. That is why it is important to encourage closer cooperation, said Vice-Rector Žalėnienė.
She also participated in KUL's international research conference, "Best Practices in Strategic Transformation of the University." The Vice-Rector made a presentation, "Good Practices of University Transformation: the Case of MRU."
MRU, Slovakia's Catholic University Ružomberok, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland's Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, and the Lublin University of Technology are all participating in the Erasmus+ programme project, "European Eastern University."
