Sept. 6th, 2017, France's University of Lille Prof. Stéphane Gerard presented a lecture, "European Identity and Identity Conflicts in Europe: Juridical Perspectives."

The question of identity, what it is and what are criteria determining identity was discussed.

The first part of the lecture dealt with identity and defining its functions. The 2nd part of the lecture was about the concept of identity in law. The final part of the lecture covered identity conflicts.

The lecture was  presented in English.
