October 30th, 2017, a unique photography exhibit featuring photos of women who gave birth at a young age, sometimes risking family and society's displeasure, opened in the first floor foyer of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).

Photographer Giedrė Šataitė has chronicled the lives of about a dozen young mothers. They are pictured with their children.

Šataitė herself became a mother at age 16.

The exhibit is sponsored by the Crisis Pregnancy Centre based in Vilnius. The Centre was established to help women deal with unplanned pregnancies and to prevent abortion. In addition, the Centre seeks to care for the mental health of women during crisis pregnancy and after giving birth.
