Unique Opportunity for Lithuanian Students to Complete a Professional Internship in the USA

The Baltic-American Freedom Foundation (BAFF) invites Lithuanian students to take advantage of an exclusive opportunity to participate in a professional internship program in the United States. This program offers invaluable experience to both students and young professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in an international environment and work with some of the world’s leading companies.

The professional internship program is designed for final-year bachelor’s students, master’s, and doctoral candidates from various academic fields. Participants have the opportunity to intern at prestigious U.S. companies, research institutions, or non-governmental organizations, depending on their area of specialization. This is an excellent chance not only to gain valuable professional skills but also to become familiar with U.S. culture, work ethic, and build international connections that can serve as a solid foundation for a future career.

BAFF provides financial support, allowing students and young professionals to focus fully on their professional development without worries. The scholarship covers travel, living expenses, and other costs related to the internship, leaving participants to focus on succeeding in the selection process and preparing for this invaluable experience.

The internship duration ranges from 8 to 11 months, depending on the participant’s individual needs and employer offers. The application deadline for spring internships is October 31, 2023, by which all documents must be submitted. The list of selected candidates will be announced on January 1, 2024, and those advancing to the next stage will be invited for interviews by that time. Confirmed candidates will begin their internships in the USA between April 1 and June 30, 2024.

For many years, the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation has strengthened ties between the Baltic countries and the United States by supporting programs that promote educational, business, and cultural exchanges. The foundation's projects help young professionals from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia gain unique international experiences and contribute to the development of their home countries.

We invite final-year bachelor’s students, master’s, and doctoral candidates to seize this unique opportunity and take the first steps toward an international career in the U.S.

More information about the program and registration can be found on the BAFF website.
