U.S. Lawyer Prof. Locke Discussed Monetary Policy – May 25th

May 25th, 2018, Harvard Law graduate, lawyer, University of Mary Hardin (UMHB) Baylor's McLane College of Business Prof. Larry Locke discussed U.S. Monetary Policy and Regulations on Finance Sector. The lecture was organized by MRU Law Faculty Lecturer, Ellex Valiunas attorney Evaldas Klimas together with the US-LT Alumni Association. Prof. Locke, an Associate Dean of the McLane College of Business in Texas, discussed the issues shaping world and U.S. financial volatility. A Fulbright specialist, Prof. Locke discussed new regulatory bodies established in the U.S. and their role in the financial industry. Prof. Locke has a JD from Harvard's Law School and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School as well as a MATh from the Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary; a B.S.E. in Mathematics from the Ouachita Baptist University and a B.A. Philosophy from the Ouachita Baptist University. Locke previously lectured at the Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. His research interests include regulatory philosophy in the banking sector and management strategy. He has more than 13 years experience as a finance layer in the financial services industry. Prof. Locke is also an ordained Baptist minister and has served as Senior Pastor of an Independent Baptist Church in Massachusetts.
