Nov. 1st-9th, 2018, U.S. Hamline University School of Law Founder Prof. Larry Bakken presented a series of law lectures to Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) students.
He has lectured on the U.S. Constitution, Intellectual Property Law, International Business and Human Rights as well as Dispute Resolution.
Prof. Bakken has taught and lectured in 13 countries including: Canada, China, Germany, Moldova, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, and Italy.
On numerous occasions, from 1994, he has not only visited Lithuania, but lectured at MRU, Kaunas's Vytautas Magnus University, Kaunas Technical University (KTU) and other institutions in Lithuania.
He taught in Kaunas in 1995, after he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship.
"I like teaching. I love the interchange with young people, with the students, who are the leaders of tomorrow," said Prof. Bakken.
Prof. Bakken said during the more than two decades that he has been visiting Vilnius and Lithuania, he is amazed by how much Lithuania has changed.
"It has become an international European capital," said Prof. Bakken, who loves visiting the new Modern Art Museum in Vilnius and trying different cuisines in the city's numerous restaurants and cafes.
