Aug. 2nd-7th, 2021, the "Transparency International" (TI) School on Integrity was held online. There were 110 youth leaders from almost 60 countries taking part. It is the largest event of its kind globally. Already 1300 students and youth have taken part in the Summer School.

During the intensive one-week School participants found out more about corruption, its causes. Together with School lecturers they looked for ways to have more transparency and to fight corruption in their daily lives in their countries.

Attention was focused on developing practical skills as well as to discuss the latest anti-corruption tendencies and how to include representatives from various sectors of society to fight corruption via art and other contemporary means.

Anti-corruption experts from Brazil, Colombia, Ireland, the Czech Republic,  Germany, Indonesia, Lithuania, Mexico, South Africa, Romania, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, the U.S., U.K., and Zambia shared their experience with participants.

The School was organized by the Lithuanian chapter of Transparency International in cooperation with Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).

This year the U.S. Commerce Department, Taiwan's Fund for Democracy, the World Youth Movement for Democracy (WYMD) and Sweden's International Liberal Center (SILC) contributed to the organisation of the School.
