The 11th International Staff Exchange Week Underway at MRU

June 19th-23rd, 2023, university staff from 12 different countries are taking part in the 11th Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Erasmus+ Staff Week on campus exchanging their experiences and practices. The visiting guests come from Bangladesh, Bulgaria, France, Ghana, Greece, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Sakartvelo, Slovenia, Germany and Turkey.

This year the personnel staff exchange week is implemented as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The aim of the programme is to talk about the University as a workplace, where decisions are made and practices undertaken in light of challenges and an experiential learning environment. June 14th, before coming to Vilnius, participants had met in a virtual learning programme online where they were acquainted with Vilnius. They learned more about MRU activities. They took part in discussions in groups about the biggest challenges they faced in the last several years.

MRU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Regina Valutytė welcomed participants to the Staff Week on campus. Various MRU departments representatives, including those from the International Office, the Academic Affairs Center, the Research and Innovation Center, the Community Welfare Center and the Personnel Management Centre, took part in discussions and moderated discussions pertaining to their departments.

Portugal's Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco - (IPCB) Lecturer Sara Brito Filipe discussed the latest marketing tendencies and their application in University marketing.

Participants of the Staff Week will attend MRU graduation ceremonies and participate in the Orange Festival on June 22nd. Participants will go to the Horse Museum during an excursion to the District of Anykščiai and visit the unique Tree path (Medžių lajų takas).
