MRU is one of 5 European Union (EU) partners. The others are: Buckinghamshire New University (UK), University of Maribor (SI), the European Policy Development and Research Institute (SI), and Maastricht University (NL).
Moldovan partner institutions included the coordinator – the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) and 5 other Moldovan universities: Technical University of Moldova, State Agrarian University of Moldova, Alecu Ruso State University of Balti, Cahul State University „B.P.Hasdeu“, and Comrat State University. Also, the Rectors‘ Council of Moldova and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova participated.
All Moldovan partners succeeded in developing and adopting university strategies on IoHE and research as well as strategies for increasing the quality and scope of academic mobility, at the National level the standards for accreditation of joint and double degrees and the regulation on academic mobility and recognition of degrees. The Roadmap on IoHE also unified information on IoHE and research/the national guidelines for incoming mobility were all elaborated and adopted as well.
All the achieved results are already helping the Moldovan higher education sector to engage with their enhanced institutional capacities in large-scale internationalization collaborations.
The delegations of Moldovan partners from several target groups visited Lithuania and participated in the training programmes organized by Mykolas Romeris University in November 2017 and February 2018.
