April 14th, 2016, Mykolas Romeris University's annual MRU Night (MRU Naktis) was a success, drawing students not only from Vilnius, but from other universities and colleges throughout Lithuania.
Students watched dancers perform folk dances, others sang, played games, took part in discussions, listened to presentations all from 21:00 - 6:00 a.m.
It is one of the largest and most well-known student events, which is now in its 4th year.
Last year the MRU Night drew more than 3,000 participants from institutions of higher learning - and not only in Vilnius.
Everything started with a desire to show that the academic community could spend time in a totally different way - at night.
MRU's Student Body organization, MRUSA, was instrumental in organizing the all-night event.
