On January 23, Her Excellency Grete Sillasen, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark, visited Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).

During the meeting, the ambassador and MRU Rector Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė expressed their appreciation for the mutual openness and long-standing history of collaboration between the two countries in education, culture, arts, and politics. They also exchanged ideas on expanding cooperation between MRU and Danish universities, including academic exchanges, joint projects, and other opportunities.

While discussing ongoing activities, the rector highlighted MRU's collaboration through Erasmus+ and NordPlus exchange agreements with five Danish universities: Roskilde University, Aarhus University, the University of Copenhagen, the University of Southern Denmark, and Aalborg University. Each year, MRU lecturers and students participate in exchanges with these institutions. Additionally, joint achievements are strengthened as MRU implements four international scientific projects in partnership with various Danish universities and partners.
