Oct. 23rd-24th, 2018, two delegations from the Communication University of China (CUC) visited Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) to discuss areas of cooperation.

On Oct. 24th, a CUC Faculty Deans' delegation, led by CUC Council Chairman Wenchen Chen, was on campus. The delegation met with MRU Vice-Rector for Education and Research Dr. Inga Žalėnienė, Communication Institute Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Gintarė Žemaitaitienė, MRU International Office Head Audra Dargytė Burokienė and others.

Discussions centered on implementing joint diploma programmes, intensive studies and Chinese language courses at MRU.

On Tuesday, Oct. 23rd, CUC Communication Studies Institute Vice-Dean Prof. Yanqiu Zhang and Media Education Centre Director Prof. Kai Zhang visited the MRU Communication Institute. Both sides discussed student and lecturer exchange programmes.

Communication Institute Director Assoc. Prof. Virgis Valentinavičius, Institute Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Gintarė Žemaitaitienė and lecturers met with the visiting CUC Vice-Dean and Media Education Centre Director.

Currently a CUC Master's Degree student is studying at MRU according to the Erasmus+ KA107 programme. From the spring 2019 semester, a Communication Institute Bachelor's Degree student will travel to China as an exchange student.
