March 11th, 2018, (Sun.), during an international soccer tournament in Vilnius, MRU's Soccer Team, composed of employees and grads, won 3rd place. They were overtaken by winners "Autoplaza" and Vilnius University of Applied Science team, which won 2nd place. The tournament marked the anniversary of Lithuania's Restoration of Independence. At least 5 teams took part including one from the Ukraine, another from the Social Sciences College and the FC-MLT Team. Winners of the tournament were awarded a trophy cup and medals. All tournament participants received diplomas.
