Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Translation & Editing and English for Specific Purposes students participated in a SOAR(T) Poetry Translation competition on campus.

Students translated the work of Barbican Young poets from English into Lithuanian including poems by: Omar Bynon, Greer Dewdney, Lana Masterson, and Jonathan Edwards.

Only selected poems of the 4 poets can be translated into Lithuanian.

In the final stage of the competition, the best translations will be awarded prizes.

The poetry competition was organized by MRU's Literature Club.
