May 21st to June 2nd, Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan Master's Degree students attended professional development lectures at Mykolas Romeris University's (MRU) Public Governance and Business Faculty's Public Administration Institute. The Kazakh students are studying in Public Administration and Regional Development studies programmes.

Many Kazakh public sector leaders, are studying at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan. These Kazakh Academy students attended lectures, interned in various Lithuanian institutions including: the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and the Vilnius City Municipality.

MRU Public Administration, Economics and Political Science Lecturers and researchers presented lectures to the Master's Degree students (MRU Prof. Ona Rakauskienė, Prof. Vainius Smalskys, Prof. Aleksandras Patapas, Assoc. Prof. Barbara Stankiewicz and Lecturer Rima Urbonaitė.)

State Data Governance Info System Division Head Vadimas Ivanovas discussed his practical work experience with students. Agency of Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour Director Jonas Laniauskas and  Small and Medium Business Association President Dalia Matukienė also detailed their work experience.

MRU is grateful to colleagues: Prof. Algirdas Astrauskas, Seems member Kęstutis Vilkauskas, Public Administration Institute Director Prof. Andrius Stasiukynas and Prof. Vainius Smalskys for a well-organised internship event.

Master's Degree students from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan have obtained useful experience and much knowledge which they will be able to apply in the public sector in Kazakhstan.
