Photo Exhibit Marked Lithuania’s Restoration of Independence

March 4th, 2015, a black-and-white photo exhibit, marking the Restoration of Lithuania's Independence, opened in MRU's 1st floor Rotunda Hall. The exhibit was titled, "For Lithuania's Independence."
March 11th, Lithuania celebrates the Restoration of Independence as the Act Re-establishing the State of Lithuania was adopted on March 11th, 1990.
The photo exhibit depicted demonstrations, meetings, and gatherings where Lithuanians expressed their desire for freedom and to be free.
One of the photographs is of British journalist Edward Lucas, who was photographed in 1990, after he received the first Lithuanian visa on March 30th, 1990.
