June 10th, 2015, an exhibition of works of art by the Lithuanian painter Viktoras Šatas was opened in the Rotunda Hall of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).

The 60-year-old artist's work is alive with the colours of nature and the green is representative of the green forests and fields of Lithuania.

Painter Antanas Beinaravičius says that colour is an important means of self-expression for Šatas.

According to Beinaravičius, Šatas is extremely sensitive to the variety of colour creating paintings "full of light and optimism."

Šatas has been exhibiting his works of art in Lithuania and abroad since 1982. His paintings have been viewed by art lovers not only in Moscow, but also in Argentina and various parts of Lithuania.

Private collectors have acquired his paintings along with the Lithuanian Art Museum.
