Jan. 27th-Feb. 1st, 2015, new MRU Erasmus and exchange students from 22 different countries, will begin Orientation Week events with tours of the University, excursions and lectures offering tips and information for their stay.
Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is welcoming 117 exchange students of which 112 are Erasmus exchange students. The largest group of students come from Slovakia (21) and Turkey (16).
On Jan. 27th, students listened to lectures about how to stay safe in Vilnius and Lithuania and were provided information on student dorms, ID's as well as academic ethics and academic writing.
On Thursday, Jan. 29th, students will travel to Trakai, a picturesque Castle town and the old capital of Lithuania located not far from Vilnius.
Friday, January 30th, students will travel to Druskininkai, a spa resort town 135 km from Vilnius, to spend the weekend.
Students come from 22 countries including Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, the Republic of Korea, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, Turkey and Ukraine.
