Sept. 2nd, 2019, during events heralding the opening of new academic year at Mykolas Romeris University, international Erasmus+ students will showcase food from their home countries. Lithuanian singer Jurgis Brūzga will perform.
At 11 a.m., freshmen and other students had the opportunity to register for extracurricular activities and events on campus.
At 12-noon, the opening of the new academic year was held on campus. Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė presided over the ceremony. Member of MRU's Senate, academics, students attended the opening.
At 13:30 hrs., in MRU's inner courtyard international students exhibited food from their home countries and provided a taste of some of the finest cuisine. A record number of international and Erasmus+ students are studying at MRU this fall.
Singer Jurgis Brūzga performed in the courtyard getting students on their feet and dancing. A sunny day with blue skies was the perfect opening for a great new year at MRU!
