New MRU PhD Students Welcomed
Nov. 3rd, 2016, new Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) doctoral students were welcomed. MRU Rector Assoc. Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius and Vice-Rector Dr. Inga Žalėnienė as well as Faculty and Laboratory Heads met with the students. There was discussion about possibilities and opportunities available for doctoral students at MRU and in the International sphere. There are 34 doctoral students in six different areas that began studies during the 2016 academic year. The newly-established Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Space (L-206) at the MRU LAB was presented to students. The auditorium has 10 work spaces. Rector Assoc. Prof. Monkevičius and Vice-Rector Dr. Žalėnienė encouraged PhD students to prepare and write dissertations in foreign languages, take part in Project activities and study in double degree programmes. Social Innovation Doctoral School Head Dr. Andrius Puksas encouraged students to use mobil opportunities and to cooperate closely with one another.
