The Council of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) has announced a public international contest for the position of MRU Rector. Applicants can submit their applications from today until 4:00 p.m. on 26 January 2024. The Council is organizing the election in accordance with the procedure for organizing the election of the Rector of Mykolas Romeris University through a public contest, approved by MRU Council Resolution No 1UT-5 of 6 February 2015.
A person of impeccable reputation, holding a doctoral degree in science (art), or a recognized artist, with pedagogical and managerial experience and proficiency in the official Lithuanian language, may participate in the contest and be elected as the Rector of MRU for a five-year term.
Candidates for the post of Rector must submit documents proving their degrees, teaching and management experience, a cover letter signed by the candidates and a five-year program concept for the post of Rector, as well as any other documents they consider appropriate to submit for the contest for the post of Rector, and their e-mail address and other contact details. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the information provided is correct and accurate. Documents may be submitted in person or by e-mail to: pas@mruni.eu. The future Rector must take up his post by 15 March 2024.
