On 8 February, the candidate for Rector of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) - Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė - was presented to the academic community of the University at an extended meeting of the Senate.

MRU alumna, who has been Rector since 2019, Prof. Dr. I. Žalėnienė presented the reasons for her candidacy for a second term, summarized the work of the five-year term, shared her thoughts on the challenges the university faced during her leadership period, was happy about the successfully launched new projects and outlined the main operational guidelines for the new term.

After the presentation, the candidate answered the questions of the MRU academic community.

The Senate of Mykolas Romeris University, which evaluated Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė's candidacy, decided to propose to the University Council for consideration by Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė's candidacy for the position of Rector of Mykolas Romeris University. The council meeting is scheduled for February 22 this year.
