May 6-7th, 2016, during the Lithuanian Student Folklore Festival, "Whose Green Gardens?" (O kieno žali sodai 2016,) the MRU Folklore Ensemble, "Ritingo" performed on campus.

The event was organized by MRU and the Vilnius Kolegija at the Didlaukis Academic Village.

On May 6th, the opening of the festival was at MRU's Central Building and at the Vilnius Kolegija Arts and Creative Technologies Faculty (Didlaukio g. 82).

Folklore performers, dressed in colourful traditional costumes were on campus all afternoon - some performing, some dancing.

May 6th, in the afternoon, Dr. Vykintas Vaitkevičius presented a lecture, "Our Vilnius: A Fortress and Sanctuary."
