Feb. 20th, 2015, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Prof. Alvydas Pumputis signed a cooperation agreement with the Head of Lithuanian National Radio & TV (LRT) Audrius Siaurusevičius.

It paves the way for both sides to foster cooperation, for staff to take part in training and to participate in joint international projects.

LRT staff will have access to MRU's Library, conference halls and the use of Sports Halls.

For its part, LRT will disseminate information about events at MRU on radio and television programmes, on the internet and allow University experts to express their opinion on important matters of the day.

MRU researchers and lecturers will be invited to LRT-organized seminars, training, radio and TV programmes and conferences.

University students will have the possibility to take part in internships at LRT as well as to conduct research for final papers, theses at the national broadcaster's headquarters.
