September 13th, 2021, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė met with Slovakia’s Ambassador to Lithuania Ladislav Babčan and Education Faculty of Catholic University of Ružomberok Vice-Dean of Foreign Relations and PR Assoc. Prof. Markéta Rusnáková. MRU International Office Head Audra Dargytė-Burokienė also participated in the meeting. It took place on the day of the grand opening of the joint Master’s programme, “European Joint Master in Social Work with Children and Youth” held at the MRU LAB.
The unique joint programme is implemented by MRU (coordinator) in conjunction with Latvia’s Strains University; Slovakia’s Catholic University in Ružomberok; and Portugal’s ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon. It is also supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
During the meeting there was discussion of cooperation possibilities and talk centered on the joint Master's programme that is coordinated by MRU and implemented with three other universities in Europe.
