Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), which has the highest international ranking in the field of law among higher education institutions in Lithuania, is now among the best universities globally and well evaluated in the QS World University Rankings 2024 for internationality and student employment.
For the 2nd year in a row MRU was in 1001-1200 place in the rankings. This year the University rose 119 positions, according to the number of international students and was in 441st place.
MRU was also evaluated in a new field - employment results and MRU placed 382.
In compiling the QS World University Rankings, higher education institutions were evaluated according to the following criteria: academic reputation, their reputation among employers, citation of research articles and the student and lecturer ratio in departments and the number of international lecturers, number of international students, sustainability, international research networks and employment results.
MRU - Highly-Rated in Lithuanian and Foreign Rankings
MRU’s Law School, which each year admits about 130 Bachelor’s Degree and 300 Master’s Degree students and more thzn 100 students auditing courses, in the specialized field rankings of universities, “QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023“ is the only higher education institution in Lithuania placing 201-250 places among the best global universities.
At this time there are 14 Bachelor’s Degree students and 36 Master’s Degree students from abroad studying in the MRU Law School. This year 45 students from different countries graduated with Master’s Degrees from MRU’s Law School. One of the students, Baku lawyer Khadija Imranova from Azerbaijan, graduated with honours at the top of her class and was awarded a Leader’s diploma.
