April 27th, 2016, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Assoc. Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius and partners in the Didlaukis Academic Village (DAV) signed a cooperation agreement seeking to establish the DAV and paving the way for a feasibility study.

MRU Rector signed the agreement with Vilnius University of Applied Sciences Director Dr. Gintautas Bražiūnas, Vilnius Services Vocational Professional Prep Centre Director Rita Pečiukaitytė and Vilnius Baltupiai Progymnasium Director Viktoras Blinovas.

All sides will seek to pool their resources, knowledge and connections in preparing the way for establishment of the Didlaukis Academic Village. There are plans to conduct joint research and participate in projects.

The cooperation agreement will allow employees from the various institutions, located in the same neighborhood, to use each other's auditoriums, sports halls and libraries.

Each of our successes are a joint success and failures are also common, noted MRU Rector Monkevičius. Together we will overcome challenges, he said.
