Jan. 29th-31st, 2016, for the second year in a row, the international gaming event, "LT GAME JAM 2016," was held on the campus of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).
This event, is a part of the international GLOBAL GAME JAM, which takes place that same weekend in 80 different countries. It attracts not only experienced game pro creators, but also those interested in games and gaming. The GLOBAL GAME JAM is expected to attract more than 25,000 participants. There will be about 5.000 new games created.
In Vilnius the event was organized by MRU's Business and Media School (BMS) and the Digital Creative Industries Lab together with partner, Lithuania's Game Creators Association. The latter unites well-known game creators and leading companies in Lithuania.
BMS and MRU's "Informatics and Digital Contents" students, lecturers and programmers took part as a Mobil Applications Group Team.
A team of students and reseachers from Korea's Dongseo University (DSU) was invited to take part at "LT GAME JAM 2016," thus making the event truly international.
