October 25th, 2016, Lithuania's President Dalia Grybauskaitė congratulated Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) graduate Eugenijus Gaščenka, when for the 4th time he won the Constitutional Exam competition. Gaščenka praised MRU's professors, some responsible for drafting the Constitution, for the knowledge they imbued. He won in the professionals' category where those studying law or practicing were vying for the top prize. "In this case my legal knowledge, gained at Mykolas Romeris University helped. At this University I am happy that I was able to listen to lectures by drafters of the Constitution, such as Prof. Juozas Žilys, Prof. Egidijus Jarašiūnas and Prof. Vytautas Sinkevičius and other highly acclaimed professionals in this area." The Constitutional Exam was held for the 10th time this year.
