The Vilnius Basketball League's "Spring B" Championship ended last week, where the Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Basketball team performed well, winning third place. The Team lost to the "Rytas 2" Team of the National Basketball League in the semi-finals with the result 82:92 (24:21, 24:20, 13:23, 21:28). But, in the fight for third place, the MRU basketball players achieved a crushing victory with the result 111:84 (24:18 , 35:23, 29:20, 23:23).

Faculty of Human and Social Studies student Lukas Pivoriūnas was in good form and scored an average of 28 points. MRU Student Geraldas Jonaitis, of the Faculty of Public Governance and Business scored an average of 21.5 points, while and Public Governance and Business student Mantas Šipkauskas scored an average of 16 points.

We are proud of the MRU Basketball team, which finished the season with bronze medals. We hope for even better results in the next season.
