On January 21-22, representatives of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) participated in an international expert seminar in the Netherlands, where the university received the Quality Label for Badge Recognition certificate. This certification confirms the high quality of MRU's work with digital badges.

The certificate proves that the digital badges issued by MRU meet the highest international quality standards. To obtain the Quality Label for Badge Recognition, the university had to provide comprehensive evidence of the quality of its badge development and administration processes, as well as prepare a three-year strategic plan. Additionally, it was necessary to ensure that all badge creators and issuers possess the required competencies for this work.

The accreditation program of the Cities of Learning network aims to establish unified quality standards for organizations working with digital badges, ensuring that their work meets the highest requirements.
