On 2-6 September 2024, a delegation from Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU) in Batumi (Sakartvelo) - Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences prof. dr. Levan Jakeli and Vice-Dean Salome Karalidze - came to Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) School of Law on official visit.

The cooperation agreement between MRU and BSU has been in force since 2014, and MRU Law School is well-known to the students of Sakartvelo from their colleagues who are currently studying or are alumni of MRU Law School. We are delighted that Vice Dean Salome Karalidze, an alumna of the European Union Law and Governance Programme at MRU Law School, is an MRU Ambassador at BSU. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the cooperation, the expansion of cooperation was discussed, and the visit culminated in the signing of two long-awaited agreements on the implementation of the International Law and the International and European Business Law Master's Double Diploma Programmes, which are expected to open up more opportunities for students not only in Sakartvelo, but also from other countries in the Caucasus region to receive a high quality education in the field of international and EU law in the European Union.
