MRU Alum Mockus Defended PhD Dissertation @ Univ of Bologna

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) graduate Martynas Mockus has successfully defended his PhD dissertation at Italy's University of Bologna. He completed the Erasmus Mundus joint doctoral studies programme, "Law, Science and Technology." The University of Bologna implements the programme and MRU is one of several academic partners.
Other partners include: the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, the University of Luxembourg, University of Tilburg, University of Turin, and MRU.
Mockus defended his dissertation, "Open Government Data Licensing Framework: An Informal Ontology for Supporting Mashup."
The joint doctoral programme is an integrated doctorate designed to address challenges in legal, socio-ethical and technical domains arising from newly emerging technologies and the information society.
