Oct. 25th, 2018, Lithuania's Social Security and Labour Minister Linas Kukuraitis delivered the opening address at the conference, "Social Workers' Professional Identity in a Changing Society."

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Rector Assoc. Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius also addressed conference participants.

The Conference was organized by MRU's Institute of Educational Sciences and Social Work in conjunction with the Social Work Schools Association and Lithuania's Social Workers' Association.

The aim of the Conference was to discuss the most challenging issues related to social workers' professional identity, professionalism, social justice as well as to exchange insights by researchers.
