The relationship between Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) and Italian Libera Universita' Mediterranea (LUM) is taking on a formal character of academic cooperation and exchange: today the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two universities, which will undoubtedly strengthen the possibilities of the future initiatives of both universities.
The aim of the MoU is to build on the cooperation already underway between the two universities, to promote student and faculty mobility, to develop cooperation in research and project activities, to organize joint international conferences and to otherwise develop academic and cultural cooperation.
"This Memorandum will create excellent conditions for the two institutions to cooperate in the fields of technology, business and management, and in the near future - in the fields of environmental sciences and IT," said the Rector, Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė, noting that it will contribute to the enhancement of the academic and scientific potential of both universities.
Professor Giovanni Schiuma, LUM Professor and Director of the Department of Management, Finance and Technology, was authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the University.
