October 6th, 2016, students and academics packed a "Žinių radijas" live radio broadcast and election debate from Mykolas Romeris University's MRU LAB facility. Ex-Premier Conservative Homeland representative Andrius Kubilius and Social Democrat Gintautas Paluckas participated. TV personality and author Giedrius Drukteinis moderated the debate along with "Žinių radijas" radio host Raigardas Musnickas. The election debate, "Whom Are You Voting For?" lasted for 1,5 hours and was translated live on the Internet and on the radio. Kubilius and his opponent, Paluckas, discussed corruption, refugees and even happiness during the debate. They also found time to answer questions from students, who attended the debate.
