Lithuania’s Kendo Championships at MRU Oct. 13-15th

Oct. 13-15th, 2017, Lithuania's Kendo Championships will be held at the Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Sports Hall, Ateities g. 20. The event is organized in conjunction with Lithuania's Kendo Association.
On Friday, Oct. 13th, 2017, there will be a training session from 19:30-21:00 hrs.
Saturday, Oct. 14th, registration to the championship will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Championships set to begin at 10:00 a.m. The closing ceremony and finals will begin at 15:30 - 16:00 hrs.
On Sunday, Oct. 15th, the training session starts at 10:00 a.m. Certificates will be handed out 13:00-15:00 hrs.
The schedule is subject to change.
Guests and judges at the event include: Mikko Salonen, 7th dan, Finland; Lorenzo Zago, 7th dan, Italy; Suzanna Porevuo, 6th dan, Finland; Andrzej Kustoszh, 6th dan, Poland; Vladimir Kindziulis, 5th dan, Latvia; and Gerardas Rūkas, 4th dan, Lithuania.
Japan's Kendo Master Yoshiyuki Haga, not only taught Japanese at MRU during the 2017 spring semester, but also taught the art of Kendo to MRU students and all those interested. He is expected to attend the event.
