March 8th, 2017, Lithuanian grand master painter Aloyzas Stasiulevičius opened an art exhibition at Mykolas Romeris University's (MRU) Rotunda Hall.
The panoramic paintings of Vilnius and its environs inspire and delight with their explosion of colour.
Born in 1931, and having completed the Vilnius Art Academy in 1956, Stasiulevičius has been creating works of art for almost six decades. Alongside Lithuanian painters Jonas Švažas, Jonas Čeponis, and Stasys Jusionis, he has reformed the way Vilnius is depicted in art and paintings.
Over the years he is participated in more than 150 group art exhibitions in Lithuania and exhibited his works of art in more than 70 group exhibitions in various countries abroad.
