April 22nd, 2016, Mykolas Romeris University's (MRU) Literature Club marked the 400th anniversary of the death of playwright, poet William Shakespeare.

MRU Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lora Tamošiūnienė presented poet Sigitas Geda's translated sonnets of Shakespeare published by Žara (2009).

"Žara" Publishing House Director Ramutė Žaldarienė participated and discussed the publishing history of the Shakespeare sonnets, translated by poet Geda.

The sonnets were published in Lithuanian after the death of Geda and was one of the last of Geda's translated works.
