Marking Freedom Defenders' Day - Jan. 13th, the Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Library has opened a book exhibition to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 1991 event.

There were 700 people injured and 14 killed when Russian troops stormed the Vilnius TV Tower and adjacent building.

The exhibit features books and information about the tragic events.

MRU Library Informational Resources Unit Head Almonė Jakubčionienė, Senior Librarian Daiva Marcinkevičiūtė and Librarian Gražina Rozancevaitė prepared and organized the book exhibit.
