Business Innovation LAB together with other 18 laboratories from the MRU LAB network has opened its doors this 2015 fall. The LAB is offering leadership studies for personal and professional development „Transforming Manager to Leader: Ownership in a 21st Century Business."
ABOUT
Is it possible to be a successful manager and at the same time an inspiring leader in business in the 21st Century? In these studies you will learn, how using specific leadership skills you can transform your managerial capabilities and thus become more empowered in reacting and solving business challenges.
Using recent research, analyzing examples of other companies and performing practical exercises, you will assess your leadership potential and learn how to motivate others, communicate effectively, work with your investors and other stakeholders, manage psychological capital and lead changes in your organization.
During these studies you will prepare and practice individual leadership skills and apply it for the implementation of the project, aiming to solve an important business problem.
Though studies are based on the distance learning approach, you will have the possibility to meet with instructors and other participants to share experiences and learning process results.
Dr. Katilienė has 12 years of practical experience in leadership, project management, sales and customer relationship management gained from her work in the telecommunications company „Omnitel“. She has acquired knowledge in the personality development field, while volunteering in the NGO „Kitas variantas“. Lately Dr. Katilienė is a director and instructor of the leadership programme at Kazimieras Simonavičius University. She also conducts consulting in spiritual intelligence for those, seeking essential transformations on the organizational as well as individual level.
