During the June 14th-25th, 2017, Classic Powerlifting Triathlon World Championship held in Minsk, Belarus, MRU Law student Jokūbas Stasiulis won a medal.

Overall in the youth men's weight category (to 105 kg) he placed 8th, but in the triathlon he had a total of 737,5 kg and did well in the weightlifting event. He was awarded a medal for his efforts.
