June 13th, 2016, Kazickas Family Foundation President, U.S. journalist,writer Jūratė Kazickaitė visited Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) and met with Rector Assoc. Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius.

MRU's Adolfas Damušis Centre for Democracy Studies (ADCDS) officials invited Kazickaitė to visit MRU.

There was discussion about possible cooperation on projects and ways to foster closer ties.

During her visit Kazickaitė also met with MRU Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Dr. Inga Žalėnienė, and MRU Senate Chairman Prof. Dr. Gintaras Aleknonis. ADCDS founder Ambassador Gintė Damušytė and Centre Head Vidmantas Valiušaitis participated in the meeting.

Kazickaitė was acquainted with MRU, the activities of the ADCDS and projects currently being implemented.

Vice-Rector Žalėnienė invited Kazickaitė to see the MRU LAB facilities and discussed activities there.

The Kazickas Family Foundation devotes most of its attention to education and social projects in Lithuania and the U.S.
