Beginning Nov. 29th, Japanese researcher and lecturer Dr. Shumpei Haginoya will present a series of lectures online on Profiling Offenders, Polygraphs and Practice of Profile Analysis. Dr. Haginoya is a certified profiler and polygraph test examiner. He is not only a researcher, but also a practitioner who regularly collaborates with Japanese police officers. During the lectures, Dr. Haginoya will share not only theoretical but also practical knowledge about the creation of a criminal profile, the links between different crimes, the geographical profile of the criminal, the recognition of lies using a polygraph test.
Students will have the opportunity to consult with the lecturer about their current or planned research in the field of legal (criminal) psychology and receive feedback.
