Introductory Week for Intl Students Aug. 25th-31st

Tuesday, Aug. 25th, 2020, Introductory Welcome Week events for about 100 MRU international exchange students will kick off and take place all week until Aug. 31st. Tours of the campus, introductory lectures, ethics, migration info and tours and information on the services of the MRU Library will be some of the events held for newly-incoming international and Erasmus+ students. Exchange and international degree students come from the following countries: Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Cameroon, Cyprus, Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Ghana, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Rwanda, Slovenia, Turkey, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and Ukraine. The largest number of exchange students come from Italy, France and Spain. On Wednesday, Aug. 26th, from 10:00-12:00 noon, students will be meeting with Erasmus+ coordinators in I-201 aud. The popular MRU international dinner will be held on Friday, Sept. 11th. During the Introductory Week students will be acquainted with MRU and life in Vilnius live in person as well as virtually.
