Dec. 7th, 2015, the international conference, "Refugees in Lithuania - Perspectives on Integration," was held on the campus of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).

Conference participants exchanged experiences regarding refugee integration and good practice in Lithuania and European Union (EU) countries.

Experts, politicians, and policy makers discussed and prepared recommendations for municipal institutions and NGO's for improving the refugee admission process in Lithuania.

The event was organized by the Seimas Human Rights Committee, the Lithuanian Government's Chancellor's Office, MRU's Politics and Management Faculty's Institute of Management and the MRU Human Rights Laboratory; the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Office in Lithuania and Lithuania's Red Cross Association.
